Viscount is situated along Highway #16 in the midst of an affluent agricultural & potash mining area. The village is centrally located between Saskatoon to the west, Humboldt to the northeast, Watrous to the south & Lanigan to the east. Viscount is within easy commuting distance to several potash mines: 10 minutes from Mosaic Potash Colonsay, 20 minutes from PCS Allan Potash, 20 minutes from PCS Lanigan Potash, & 45 minutes from BHP Jansen Potash.
