Active Plumbing & Drainage is owned and operated by Matt Higgins. With over 25 years experience, Matt has been a plumber since leaving school at the age of 15. He completed the 8000 hours work and exams required to become a Registered Plumber and then continued his plumbing education to become a Certified Craftsman Plumber, one of the highest ratings achievable in New Zealand. The Craftsman Plumber Certification* is more than just plumbing and includes aspects of running a business. In addition, Matt has also become one of the first Plumbers in New Zealand to qualify as an official Back Flow Prevention Specialist.
