Post Natal Helpers Ltd

Post Natal Helpers Ltd. was originally established in Calgary in 1983 to provide support for families adjusting to life with their newborns. Over time we have expanded to include family care during the intensive early years and now provide care for toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. The individuals working with this organization all have strong childcare backgrounds. They are interviewed, reference checked, have a police security check (vulnerable member of society level clearance), and attend a Post Natal Helpers orientation seminar. Our primary focus has always been childcare. While we are in the home, parents have the opportunity to stay and rest or to leave on a flexible, part-time basis. Our aim is to provide support that helps reduce stress and fatigue and in turn strengthens the parent-child bond.
